As the owners of South Wind Fan & Light, we’d like to share our own personal CZ1500 testimonial with you. Our main source of heat is oil and for the past ten years, during the winter months we received an oil fill up (200-225 gallons) every 5-6 weeks. We invested in a new "energy efficient" oil burner two years ago, at the cost of $5800.00, but our oil consumption remained the same and the drain on our wallets continued to grow as oil prices escalated.
We have a sunroom area in our home that is not insulated and even with the thermostat on our oil burner turned up past 72 degrees, overheating the main rooms in our home, we could never heat the sunroom above 58 degrees in the winter. Not anymore! We have been using a CZ1500P in this area for the past two years AND we have our house thermostat set to 50 degrees. As I write this, the temperature in the sunroom is a balmy 73.8 degrees and the temperature outside today is 14 degrees!
Our last three oil "fill-ups" were for 68.2 gallons on 10/17/08, 38 gallons on 12/11/08 and for 25.7 gallons on 1/9/09. By comparison, our oil fill-ups for the same time frame in 2006, pre CZ1500P use, was 396 gallons. That’s a savings worth 264 gallons of heating oil in just a 7 week period. No doubt in our minds that the CZ1500 is saving us a considerable amount of money during the heating season! We saw an increase of $40.00 in our electricity bill this month, which also includes outdoor holiday lighting. We use one CZ1500 unit in the sunroom daily and 2-3 other units as needed to heat rooms used only occasionally. In addition to the savings we have enjoyed, an added bonus is that the CZ1500 provides a more comfortable, even heat than we have ever enjoyed with our main fuel oil heating system.

I’m really loving my new comfort zone heater! I love that it’s ultra-quiet and I especially love the quality of the heat that it puts out. It doesn’t make the air dry and staticy like other space heaters that I’ve had. My dogs love to lay in front of it and I have never seen them do that with any other heater. The best part is that it’s really lowered my heating bills. I can see that by the end of this winter, it will have paid for itself and some. It looks great too! I had another brand of Quartz Infrared Heater in my home last year. While I did save on my electrical bills, the heater was just to noisey for me and I only ran it in the living room. My new ComfortZone Heater is sitting in my bedroom. It turns on and off all night and I never hear a thing. The new electronic thermostat and the delay start feature I think were great improvements over my previous heater. We just received our heater, the CZ1500P today. I can’t tell you how pleased we are with the quality of the unit. The heater is phenomenal!! No messing with broken screws, broken cabinets, broken bulbs as with other heaters on the market. Just unbox and plug it in. It is much quieter than other “similar” units on the market. I had to put similar in quotes because frankly, there is NO comparison between the ComfortZone and other units on the market. I wanted to let you know I received the new heating unit yesterday, and I am very happy with it so far. It was packed very well and came to me in perfect condition. I put it to a real test last night. We have a 4-seasons room that we normally have to keep shut up because we can’t heat it. Last night it was about 15 degrees here and the room temperature inside that room was 35 degrees. I set it at 72 degrees and let it go all night. This morning we were able to open the French doors because the temperature was about 64 degrees, and still going up. Everything seems to be working well so far.
