Emerson Downrods Standard Finish CFDR
 		  STANDARD 8 FOOT CEILINGS - EMerson fans are designed to fit a standard eight-foot ceiling, which puts the blades seven feet from the floor for best air movement and clearance.
CEILINGS LOWER THAN 8 FEET - Choose an Emerson Snugger model to achieve the desired seven-foot blade clearance or consider a close-to-the ceiling-downrod.
CEILINGS ABOVE 8 FEET - the fan should be hung by a downrod to either or nine feet from the floor. This is important because the higher the fan is hung, the less air circulates near the floor. Choose one of the accessory downrods available in lenghts of one foot to six feet to achieve your desired height.

Whether you want to extend your fan twelve inches or six feet, there are seven lengths and sixteen finishes of downrods to choose from. Emerson downrods are 1/2 " diameter, unthreaded.
Standard finishes include: Black, Antique Brass, Polished Brass, Chalk, Summer White and Appliance White. See Premium Downrods for all other finishes.
