Emerson Ceiling Fan Downrods Standard Finish CFDR (Brass, White, Chalk and Black Finishes)

Standard finishes include: Antique Brass, Barbeque Black, Gloss Black, Polished Brass, Chalk, Summer White and Appliance White. See Premium Downrods for all other finishes.

Emerson fans are designed to fit a standard eight-foot ceiling, which puts the blades seven feet from the floor for best air movement and clearance.

FOR CEILINGS LOWER THAN 8 FEET - Choose an Emerson Snugger model to achieve the desired seven-foot blade clearance or consider a close-to-the ceiling-downrod.

CEILINGS ABOVE 8 FEET - the fan should be hung by a downrod to either eight or nine feet from the floor. This is important because the higher the fan is hung, the less air circulates near the floor. Choose one of the accessory downrods available in lengths of one foot to six feet to achieve your desired height.

Whether you want to extend your fan twelve inches or six feet, there are 7 lengths and 24 finishes of downrods to choose from. Emerson downrods are 1/2 " diameter, unthreaded.
